CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The surface of your solid wood table is fundamentally solid and robust. By oiling it several times, we increase the wood's resistance to external influences. The great thing is that the wood develops a personal touch with normal use and, like a vintage car, gains character and value over time.
You should follow the following tips to enjoy your table for a long time:
CARE TIPS
For general cleaning, you can use a slightly damp cotton cloth. Please be very sparing with the water.
Use coasters for hot pots, cups, soup bowls, etc.
You should remove any liquids from the table surface immediately to avoid water marks.
Since wood is inherently softer than glass, ceramic or metal, you should handle such materials carefully at the table.
Heavy objects should also
not pushed over the table surface
become.
LONG-TERM CARE
How often you need to re-oil the table depends on the level of wear and tear, among other things. Generally speaking, re-oiling the table once a year should be sufficient.
If the table surface appears to be too worn, you can completely renew it with little effort. Large or deep damage can be removed by sanding the table top. The subsequent re-oiling will also give your table the intense grain it had when you bought it.
